The art of promoting relaxation
Shanshui is an elaborate personal humidifier and aromatherapy diffuser, inspired by Zen physiology and natural physics.
Zen: When our team went to Japan in 2016, we had the opportunity to explore Zen deeply. We are inspired by Zen's interpretation of life balance, with vitality in peace and simplicity in chaos. Zen philosophy inspires us as designers to find simple solutions to today's chaos. We should focus on the most obvious and important thing: air.
Air: For thousands of years, human beings have been trying to make "suitable" air. We want to cool the air when the weather gets hot. We want to keep warm in the cold. Today, we also hope to have more moisture air to comfort us.
Chaos: Our way of life today is surrounded by many technologies that make life convenient, but at the same time it also causes chaos, because most devices need to be connected by cable. When we start to spend more time near the power plug than anywhere else in the home, this small cable actually limits the dynamics of our lives more than we think. We want to design a humidifier that can be used wherever we want to go.
Design: As a design team, we spent nearly 2 years observing the concept and prototype of life and development, a beautiful and simple humidifier solution. Shanshui is the result of 2 years of research and development: a creative humidifier and aromatherapy machine, which can be placed in any space you like, completely powered by natural physics, and not limited by space.
Inspired by landscape, the rules of dynamic physics are designed to use absorption and evaporation to create elegant humidifiers and fragrance diffused into some Zen to add to any home or office space.
How to use: Just fill the landscape water tank with water, slide the felt profile onto the foam buoy, and place the landscape cover on it
Then add a few drops of essential oil as needed. It is also designed as a modern ornament because traditional culture is creatively integrated into the modern living environment.
Functional bonsai
In addition to being used as a humidifier and aromatherapy machine, the landscape is also designed as a beautiful home decoration, a modern bonsai with tranquil functions
The Art of Water
"You must be invisible, invisible, like water. When you pour water into a cup, it becomes a cup. When you pour water into a bottle, it becomes a bottle. When you pour water into a teapot, it becomes a teapot. The water will drip and collapse. It becomes like water, my friend." -Bruce Lee
Bruce Lee's famous saying Water is also an important part of landscape inspiration. Invisible water is formed by the shape of felt through the natural physical laws of siphon, and then the water evaporates to quietly change the shape of the three spikes every second, visualizing the change of water level and evaporation efficiency.
The package includes: wooden reservoir/wooden cover/foam float/felt slide
Modern technology:
The wooden water tank and lid are beautifully made of a piece of solid wood and polished to create a smooth surface.
The natural wood growth ring texture in wood makes each piece unique. It is coated with a high-quality and food-grade transparent coating to protect the wood from water and moisture.
We came up with some good ideas for humidifying the surrounding air, which can be easily used to improve indoor air quality. Our focus is to design a solution that not only uses natural energy to create humidity, but also visually displays the switch status.
We came to the chopping block and began to create prototypes to prove that the idea could be achieved.

Accurate Size and Design of 3D Printing
We flew to southern China, met with 3 different timber factories to make parts, and finally cooperated with one factory to produce the final version. Among all the wood options, we chose beech because of its durability and soft texture. Then, we applied an environmentally friendly transparent coating on the surface of the wood to make the wood more durable when exposed to water.

Isn't this product a bad street in Yiwu Commodity Market and Taobao?
The picture has lost paste.
Look at the clarity of the picture and you will know that it is a work of some ages.
Can you do something new? I 've seen the name of landscape humidifier just dozens of times. I'll make this thing when I go to Japan for inspection. I can do it with any design major.
