ReefNexus propose a novel and sustainable concept for marine restoration, using both nature-centered and human-centered design perspectives. Inspired by the geometric mosaic pattern, the design combines the aesthetic and ultra-stable characteristics of the shell-like structure to form a diversified modular assembly mode. Constructing with a fabric frame and coral-polymerized concrete, the design enables sustainable production, scalable assembly, transport efficiency, habitat creation, and marine regeneration. The case comes from the official website of the Red Dot Award and is only shared as a winning case.
