Introduction: Background and significance: Benefiting from the country's economic development policy to stimulate domestic demand, many infrastructure projects in the country are inseparable from heavy machinery such as cranes. Cranes play a pivotal role in construction. However, off-road cranes are still facing challenges. On the one hand, off-road cranes at this stage are still unable to meet the needs of multi-terrain construction in different infrastructure projects. On the other hand, the working environment of off-road cranes is changeable, and they often encounter severe weather such as high temperature and cold. How to reasonably design the internal and external structure of the car body to make it have strong off-road capability and optimize the driver's driving experience has become a problem that needs to be solved.
The key and difficult point of this design lies in the design of multi-terrain universal off-road crane appearance, strong and reliable body structure, so that the off-road crane can meet the use requirements of various construction environments. Design task description: Design innovative Sany Heavy Industry off-road crane, adapt to a variety of working environments, give drivers a better experience, and meet the needs of the market and enterprises. Complete a series of design activities from product concept to physical products, including user research, market analysis, sketching, 3D modeling and rendering, physical model making, experiment and testing, etc. The processes are well organized, innovative and practical, and ultimately output the solid model.
Key and difficult points of design: The traditional Sany body structure is mostly based on hard and straight lines. Although it conforms to the modeling language of heavy industry products, it lacks a sense of modernity as a whole. It is necessary to retain the original Sany design language and combine modern elements with related concepts. Design, with bold ideas combined with rigorous design logic, to produce the shape of Sany Heavy Industry's off-road crane that conforms to the modern context and has a sense of security. The relevant functional components of the off-road crane are optimized, focusing on the optimized design of climbing ladders and supporting feet. When the traditional climbing ladder is climbed in the first step, due to the height difference with the ground, it is more difficult. I designed it into a folded structure. After opening the stairs, it extends to the ground, and the driver can easily and conveniently climb the cockpit. On the other hand, it is the design of supporting feet. I got inspiration from the foot structure of poultry animals and designed a mechanical structure similar to animal joints, which greatly enhanced the flexibility of telescopic support. At the same time, the supporting feet can also be put away when they are not used. The design of the transparent cockpit provides the driver with a wider field of vision and a more comfortable driving experience.
