Epidemic prevention service robots play an important role in epidemic prevention and control in China in 2020. With the normalization of epidemic prevention and control, more epidemic prevention service robots in daily service scenarios begin to appear. As a major platform for Hunan Province to implement the strategy of "innovation leading and open rise", Yuelu Mountain National University Science and Technology City has joined hands with the Robotics College of Hunan University to carry out product design and research in the robot field of "mobile" and "health monitoring, this will lay a foundation for future series design and technical research in related robot fields.
The main content of the project is to analyze the positioning, function and form of the epidemic prevention service robot under the mainstream market scenario, to obtain the inheritance point of the product, and based on this, to study the target scenario and users, to obtain the product problem points and design keywords, and based on this, to propose the product design opportunity point.
Product design opportunities include pyramid split solution, aluminum alloy antibacterial coating CMF concept, concealed sensor concave table design, top storage design, unique holding handrail design, and replaceable HEPA filter element structure design. At present, the design of the holding handrail has been patented for the utility model.
In the mid-term sketch and renderings design stage, the author deduces the form and style of the product based on the design keywords "sense of technology" and "sense of security" and the user scene style, and visually analyzes the style of the keywords. The whole derivation process includes four-round modeling stage derivation and three-round product effect adjustment, and finally integrates the product appearance and the previous product inheritance points, and reasonably maintains the visual beauty and functional innovation of the product design scheme.
The hand-made prototype was installed in December 202020and underwent a one-month field test and usability iteration. Finally, the 1.0 hand-made prototype completed the acceptance report. The physical prototype has been included in the property project of the Robotics College of Hunan University. 2.0 design and development based on the existing version is also in the process of preparation.
