SOOCAS H5 Van Gogh series hair dryers are joint products with the British Museum. At that time, the museum authorized the company to obtain several Van Gogh paintings, including "Wild Rose", "Apricot Blossoms in Bloom", "Chrysanthemum" and so on... Then some technological schemes were produced, such as carving a circle of patterns on the aluminum alloy barrel body and opening a width of 3cm on the side of the barrel body, the groove with the same length as the barrel body is used for glue dripping process (similar to our common patterned key chain), or transfer process (printing the picture on the handle barrel). After evaluation with the supplier and proofing, laser engraving: only laser engraving line, high cost, the effect is not ideal. The glue dripping process is complicated and the actual operation is time-consuming, and the effect is general and more expensive. Transfer printing: mechanical operation, low cost and high fault tolerance, consumers can see at a glance. So finally chose the transfer process.
Then the market personnel chose two paintings "Chrysanthemum" and "Wild Rose" to design and stick them on the handle. My idea at that time was to buckle the background of each painting and use the material color of the handle itself as the background to complete its own effect. After actual proofing, it was found that the plant elements in "Chrysanthemum" were too concentrated, and the effect on the handle was very poor, like plaster! The petals and leaves of "Wild Rose" are loose, and the effect is even better when pasted on the handle! So I chose this pair of "Wild Rose" to make a joint product.
In the later production, it was pasted on the handle, and the overall texture felt ordinary, so we added UV paint with dumb surface on the surface, which increased the texture and played a protective role at the same time. The following work is to go to the factory to adjust the effect color according to the CMF process diagram. Although they are all green colors, the overall control is very complicated because of the different processes of different components. The air outlet net is made of nylon glass fiber, the barrel body is made of aluminum alloy, the air outlet net is made of PP, the handle is ABS, and the power cord cover is made of PVC. It is so complicated, so we first select the appropriate metal color (thanks to the experience of the factory color mixing master), then adjust the color of the handle barrel according to the color of the metal parts, and adjust the color of other parts made of different materials according to the color of the handle. The overall time takes more than a month! The final effect is as you can see. After supplementing the limit sample of each component in the later period, the product is completed!!
