上面两个球是异性相吸的永磁铁，下面的底座和援助部分是同性相斥的永磁铁，在风的扰动下，圆柱部分就会持续不断的被底座中的磁场排斥而动起来，所以才有了撞击玻璃罩的悦耳声音。这个设计可能借鉴了一款扩香器设计，它也是靠永磁铁的同性相斥，让有香水的那根柱子持续不断晃动起来，以此达到扩香的目的。
