It is not difficult to see from the ranking that most of the excellent schools are distributed in the United States, Britain and Europe.
This article mainly shares top schools in industrial design such as Britain, the United States and Europe.
The United States

In the industrial design colleges and universities in the United States, the ranking of top1-5 schools fluctuates greatly, but the gap between schools is not very large, mainly due to the difference in teaching characteristics. How to choose depends on one's own interests and hobbies, and what suits oneself is the best.

For example, SCAD emphasizes that students present the actual form of products, in-depth exploration of industrial materials and processes, and the school projects provided by SCAD are closely connected with actual manufacturers, therefore, SCAD students can integrate and connect with the real needs and brand requirements of users more quickly after entering the workplace, and allocate the running-in of working conditions and the output of working results to the best rhythm.

Japan
________________________________________
There are many familiar design masters in Japan, and the book "Design in Design" by Kenya Hara is often used as a design enlightenment. Although Japan's industrial design style cannot be consistent with several words, if we agree with the concepts of "humanization", "simplicity" and "craftsman spirit", it is a good choice to go to Japan. In addition, the overall cost of studying abroad in Japan is relatively low, and it is very convenient to be close to China.

Italian industrial design still maintains a leading position in the world, especially furniture design and automobile design, which have attracted worldwide attention. The following four colleges and universities are available for everyone to choose from:

European Institute of Design (Comprehensive)
• University of Modena (Car Design)
Four Nordic Countries
________________________________________
Nordic is a relatively unpopular position in the field of art study abroad, but its position in the world's industrial design is unshakable. The well-known IKEA, Volvo, Bang & Olufsen, etc., and many well-known furniture are also made by Nordic designers such as Paul Hanningson (PoulHenningsen) PH lamp, Ann Jacobson (Arne Jacobsen) egg chair, swan chair, ant chair, etc. From this, we can also see the strong teaching strength of industrial design in Northern Europe. Moreover, tuition fees in northern Europe are generally lower than those in Britain and the United States. If you want to learn first-class industrial design but can't afford the high tuition fees, you can consider schools in northern Europe.
Sweden is the first in the four Nordic countries on the overall quality of education in industrial design, followed by Finland, Norway and Denmark. In addition, when applying for Northern Europe, you should pay attention:
1. Undergraduate students need to learn the local language and do not teach in English.
2. Postgraduates do not accept cross-disciplinary applications. It is relatively safe to have a degree of convergence of 70% or more for undergraduate courses. For details, please ask the school admissions office by mail.

1. Swedish National Institute of Art and Design
2. Umeå University
3. Chalmers University of Technology
4. Royal Swedish Institute of Technology

1. Aalto University
Aalto University (Aalto University) is located in Finland. It is a top Nordic university with an ancient history and hundreds of years of school experience. In the 2017-2018 QS(top 50 under 50) ranking of the best young universities in the world, Aalto University ranked 7th in the world [3] and 1st in Europe.
Many world-renowned industrial design masters graduated from the University of Helsinki, the predecessor of Aalto. This is my dream school. (I really want to learn industrial design, I think I can learn more here)
2. University of Lapland
Norway
Norwegian schools only accept a postgraduate degree or above, which is suitable for further study after work. Norwegian enrollment requires work experience.

________________________________________
Finally, there must be two of the world's top universities in the Netherlands, which are famous wherever they go.
