At the beginning of our research, we just thought it was a classic building in the 1920 s, but we didn't understand the significance and highlights of its existence. However, when we walked into it and watched, we suddenly found many architectural details of the colonial period: for example, the whole building was full of image elements of horses, sculptural, flat and three-dimensional, there are also paper-cut, which deeply reflects the good intentions of the architects in cultural transmission at that time, including the tone coordination of the brick-carved handrails of the entire building, which is also a unique design.
The Happy Valley is a typical fusion of English architecture and Chinese architecture. In the process of design, the Trojan horse designer retains the simple architectural lines, dignified architectural colors and unique architectural style of the Happy Valley, simplifies the overall complicated modeling, and uses the method of analysis and reconstruction to divide and reorganize the Happy Valley Building in the form of decorative paintings, with lights, to form magnificent light and shadow paper carving lamps.
