Recently, a ceramic spice storage tank project that has been listed has been sorted out.

This product was originally designed in the direction of scented candle containers, inspired by Middle Eastern architectural culture. Subsequently, combined with the channel needs of Dubai customers and the local spice culture, the product application was extended to ceramic spice storage vessels, and finally launched.

The initial thinking of the project is not to "make an ordinary container", but to translate the arches, column order, dome shape and geometric patterns in Middle Eastern buildings into a ceramic object with practical function, cultural recognition and spatial display value.

The product adopts a multi-sided cylindrical tank body structure to strengthen the sense of order of the building facade; the top uses a dome-type cover button and Arabic-style relief patterns, echoing the decorative language in Middle Eastern architecture; the material is selected matte ceramics, hoping to present a warm, calm and handmade texture. The front reserved brand customization area is used to present the customer brand logo, so that the product has a stronger gift attribute and commercial customization value.

In terms of market positioning, it extends from the atmosphere attribute of the fragrance container to the scene of spice storage, table display, family hospitality, hotel gifts, tourist souvenirs and brand customization. This transformation process also shows me that good utensils design not only serves a single function, but also can enter new usage scenarios through cultural context and commercial needs.

What makes me feel more about this project is that the regional culture does not have to be superficially decorated on the product, it can also be re-expressed through structure, proportion, material and use scene. For me, good product design is not just about looking good, but about being able to think about culture, function, process and business value in the same system.
