I .M. Pei, even if this name is familiar to me as a layman, but further down, it is at a loss. Recently, I had the honor to participate in the exhibition of I .M. Pei-Life Like Architecture in MPLUS Museum. I also carefully read some relevant materials and made some personal comments from the perspective of industrial designers. What I have learned cannot be superficial. Please correct me if there is any misreading ~
This article is mainly arranged from the completed time dimension, and selects the more distinctive and widely circulated architectural works for sorting. Bei Sheng's works are mainly divided into three periods: student period, real estate company period and office period. The emphasis is different, but there are also many works that also let us see some early ideological sources. It is very interesting to make such a summary. At first, I only looked at it from the perspective of design, and then slowly considered some environmental and political factors. There are a lot of things involved here. At this stage, I only made some preliminary finishing from the perspective of design, hoping that there will be opportunities to further deepen in the future.
As described in the following text, the gray part is reproduced on the Internet and the ginger part is personal opinion.
