The Trojan team partnered with ABB to launch the YUMI Intelligent Collaborative Industrial Robot. YUMI means YOU and ME, meaning that machines and humans can work together in the future, so it is also called collaborative robots. Manipulator is an important part of the robot, full of precision sensing devices, responsible for the robot's grasping, clamping and other actions, can be said to be the soul part of this industrial robot.
In this project, the Trojan design team is responsible for the design of the robot manipulator, and the hand design and development are carried out on the basis of the main body shape designed by ABB Swedish design team. While pursuing the futuristic sense of science and technology, the design also puts forward the design concept of "friendly robot". The shape is avant-garde and has affinity. The streamline shape brings a sense of flexibility to this heavy and conservative robot hand, adding more wonderful science and technology color. The shape also takes into account the main parts designed by the Swedish design team, and the overall shape is integrated.
Different from its simple and smooth appearance, as a sophisticated industrial robot, its internal structure is more complex, involving a variety of modeling, structure and materials and other factors. In the process of structural design, the Trojan industrial design solves a series of technical difficulties such as material application, structural strength and weight control, so as to ensure that the manipulator can flexibly carry out various operations.
After repeated deliberation and design, the Trojan horse completed the design of the manipulator and formed a flexible and free intelligent cooperative robot with the main part designed by the Swedish design team. The product has been unanimously recognized by ABB's senior management, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who has been committed to promoting the 4.0 of German industry, also spoke highly of the product. The project was also unveiled at major industrial booths, receiving widespread attention and praise, and won the German Red Dot Award for the best of the best.
