Nishang danced a good show.
When it comes to the Mid-Autumn Festival, people often think of Zhang Jiuling's "the moon is born on the sea, and the ends of the world are at this time", the moon with the flow of brilliance and the whirling shadows of trees, and the quiet images of the moon shining on thousands of families when a family eats cakes and watches the moon on the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival.
There are many Kunqu Opera related to the Mid-Autumn Festival among the people. These vivid stories have been passed down to this day. In the era when there were no movies and TV, the people's Mid-Autumn Festival drama was spent watching these folk arts.
The Thousand-Man Stone on Huqiu Mountain in Suzhou is a huge stone and a sacred stage in the history of Kunqu Opera. The art carnival held here since the middle of the Ming Dynasty has continued to this day, fully demonstrating the charm of Kunqu Opera. During the Mid-Autumn Festival, the literati of the Qu family and the common people gather in Huqiu, strike the festival and sing, chant and entertain, and stay up all night.
Not only Suzhou Huqiu, but the Qing court also had the habit of enjoying the Mid-Autumn Festival. The songs sung by the Qing Palace during the Mid-Autumn Festival include "Tianjie Tading the Moon", "Guanghan Fa Qu", "Dangui Fragrance", "Neon Clothes Dancing" and so on.
