ZWHAND Zhaowei Electromechanical is a national high-tech enterprise focusing on micro-drive and micro-drive. The first generation of ZWHAND, released by its company in November 2024, is the world's first smart hand product with a full-drive power unit built into the knuckle, which is mainly used in the field of body robots.

At the beginning of 2025, Qiwei was invited to provide design optimization CMF design and visual design services for ZWHAND DM20, a brand-new dexterous hand product of Zhaowei Electromechanical.

ZWHAND DM20 has 20 built-in micro motors, covering 20 degrees of freedom, which can easily realize fine movements such as grasping, bending and swinging, and has the function of cerebellar self-learning. It can be used in industrial automation, logistics, humanoid robots and medical applications.

The surface of ZWHAND DM20 is covered with flexible electronic skin with real "touch. In the design, we use bionic design techniques to extract and abstract finger fingerprints to strengthen the bionic properties of electronic skin, and also provide the anti-slip friction force required for dexterous hands to grasp. For industrial, medical and other fields, the fingerprint features are replaced with hexagonal honeycomb matrix texture and circular lattice texture to meet the needs of different scenes. In the CMF design stage, we also provided a variety of different CMF design schemes for the above scenarios: body robot-metallic paint texture, industrial field-yellow and black color matching with warning, medical industry-representing clean white and blue.
