Today performances that combine projection mapping and Japanese culture and music are quite common. However, performances that combines Wadaiko (Japanese Drums) and fused digital music have not yet been produced. Traditionally, the projection mapping is prepared along with the music, all in advance, and they are both performed by pressing one bu-tton. Nevertheless, in this performance the video is produced live while the Wadaiko artists are playing. The performance of Wadaiko is of course analog. But the fused music and the projection mapping is digital. This fusion of Digital x Analog creates a brand new kind of entertainment.
