Word games in 2020

Pictograms, referring to things, knowing, pictophones, based on these four logics, actually form the unique radical structure of Chinese characters. But not all radicals are radicals. In Shuowen Jiezi, half of the ideographic meaning is usually regarded as radicals, and radicals are divided into literacy radicals and inspection radicals. Among them, literacy radicals are the most special Type of character-building parts.

Literacy radicals have strong character-building ability and high utilization rate. A literate radical may be combined with other components to form hundreds of characters. Such a Chinese character structure is actually a modular design in some sense. Starting from this logic, we have found a new angle for the use of Chinese characters in furniture.

As a result, we found a unique literacy radical such as "door". Different words were put into the door, and dozens of brand-new words were produced, and our word game series was born.

Word game cabinet series, transparent acrylic gives perfect display of different materials, just like the semi-closed "door" radical, maintaining the character of each word and giving birth to a new meaning.
