[Author Bio] ondybo has 25 years of experience in industrial product design. Good at full-link design from front-end concept sketch, 3D modeling to back-end structure mass production landing.
[Creation Purpose] With the popularity of Apple's family barrels, desktop wireless charging has become a necessity. However, most of the products on the market are tandem folding (easy tolerance accumulation, assembly locking) or scissor lifting (easy unilateral jamming, unstable center of gravity). The original intention of this design is to create a three-in-one charging station that not only has high-end mechanical aesthetics, but also perfectly takes into account the assembly line assembly yield and mold cost.
[Creation Process] This work was completed in October 2026. After deliberating a number of concepts, the "multi-link independent arm" scheme was finally locked.
Design core highlights:
Modular assembly: the base, mobile phone connecting rod and watch arm can be pre-assembled independently, and the assembly line is easy to split, suitable for mass production.
Anti-loosening of the structure: For the pain points of easy loosening of multi-links, a wear-resistant POM gasket is added to the mating surface, and the specifications of the damping shaft are unified; the watch arm adopts independent torsion and does not interfere with the heavy load of the mobile phone.
Hidden routing: the cable enters from the tail of the base, and the wiring is hidden through the inner side of the cantilever to strictly avoid the hinge movable joint.
CMF, the use of anodized aluminum alloy with deep-space gray skin-friendly silicone, taking into account the cold sense of science and technology and anti-skid practicality.
