Henan Wugu Spring Wine Co., Ltd. was established in July 2014. Its predecessor was Henan Huaibin Oolong Wine Co., Ltd.
Founded in the early 1950 s, it is a medium-sized liquor manufacturer and a holding subsidiary of Yibin Wuliangye Co., Ltd.
The design combines five grains (wheat, rice, glutinous rice, sorghum and corn) with aluminum brand as a "super symbol" on the surface of the box.
The bottle type evolved according to the wine vessel inscription copper goblet of Shang Dynasty drinking. The inscription copper goblet was unearthed in the former Nanyang area (now Nanyang City, Henan Province), and the copper goblet was trumpet-shaped throughout,
