I designed a DNA spiral structure conference table, inspired by the DNA spiral structure, known as the pioneer of molecular graphics Dr. Langeridge began to study DNA structure in 1957. He pointed out that no matter from which angle, DNA is composed of golden ratio.
I extracted the spiral shape of this dna as the shape of the table legs of the conference table and beautified it.
I have tried to add the cross bar in the middle of the DNA double strand to the table leg, which is the base pair.
But the visual effect was not good and I eliminated it.
I chose to use the simplest lines to represent it.
In terms of materials, I use polished stainless steel table legs and stable gray glass table top. The combination of stainless steel and glass creates empty-inspired furniture.
The whole conference table has no extra lines, two spiral lines that will never intersect, and no extra decoration encumbrance. Simple and pure I think is my best interpretation of DNA structure.
