Introduction: This product is a multifunctional portable tool kit designed in cooperation with enterprises to solve the problems encountered by ship maintenance engineers during operation. Compared with other types of maintenance work, ship maintenance work has more complicated working characteristics due to various problems such as hull structure and surrounding humid environment.
So far, China has undertaken nearly 70% of the world's ship maintenance work, and the ship industry has gradually grown. With the increase of engineering quantity in the shipbuilding industry, the demand of engineers is also gradually obvious. The lack of adaptation tools brings difficulties to the maintenance work of engineers. How to enable engineers to complete the work efficiently in a more comfortable and safe way is the focus of this topic.
Through the field investigation of the ship's working environment, it is found that the main pain points of the ship's maintenance work, especially the maintenance work of communication and navigation equipment, are: 1. The available space is small; 2. There is a blind repair operation; 3. The disassembled parts do not have a suitable placement position, and there is a risk of falling from high altitude; 4. The tools are inconvenient to carry; 5. Too many small parts are easy to lose. In view of these pain points, it is decided to re-analyze and study the working methods and postures of engineers to try to find opportunities for improvement or solution. Finally, it is found that during the operation, the areas on the chest and back and the outside of the thigh have the least impact on the operation activities. Considering the problem of human comfort, the tool kit is finally placed on the outside of the thigh.
Data statistics are also made on the types and sizes of commonly used tools. And the materials and fabrics suitable for the working environment are analyzed. Finally, a toolkit with the characteristics of "portable", "wearable", "integrated" and "fashionable" is designed, which solves the above pain points, meets the needs of current ship maintenance engineering, and can assist engineers in their work.
