On March 23, 2020, we started online and created together.

On the evening of March 23, 2020, the "Healing the Future 2020 Social Design Co-creation Plan" initiated by the Red Dot Design Museum was officially launched! In a short period of 12 days of recruitment, we were pleasantly surprised to receive more than 2 or 320 applications. After many rounds of discussion by the co-creation team instructors, about 120 participants from various fields were lucky to become the team members of this co-creation camp. They were divided into 31 groups, including 16 groups of product design group, 9 groups of communication design group and 6 groups of service design group, and started the design co-creation for more than 40 days.

This co-creation plan was carried out under the guidance of UNESCO's China National Working Committee on Sustainable Development Education, and won the full support of 5% Design Action, Tencent, Xiaomi, Central Academy of Fine Arts, No. 9 Gutian Road, Japan Design Station, Puxiang Network and other co-sponsors from various fields of society. All parties will give full play to their respective advantages to assist the co-creation plan to carry out online co-creation, offline promotion and landing application, and analyze and create ideas on the social and public health events caused by the new crown epidemic, so as to jointly promote the smooth output of co-creation results.

What makes this co-creation plan full of vitality and hope is those co-creators who meet us because of their love for public welfare. Among the about 120 members of this co-creation camp, there are specialized talents from well-known companies or institutions such as Tencent, Huawei, Starbucks, Shandong Love and Deaf Sign Language Research Center, Aviation General Hospital, etc., as well as excellent medical workers and copywriting planners. There are many senior designers who have won international design awards. At the launching ceremony, they shared their professional experience and injected the first dose of wisdom and strength into the co-creation camp.

In the next month or so, every member of the "Healing the Future 2020 Social Design Co-creation Plan" will, accompanied by his mentor, learn general knowledge, determine the direction of creation, and finally release 20 co-creation results. We believe that mature professionalism is the basis for enthusiasm, and excellent teamwork ability and rich experience are the key to producing outstanding results. Every co-creation result full of humanistic care and condensed subtle ideas will be through co-creation. Plan and come to this world to heal our future ~

With the end of the launching ceremony, the first learning discussion will also be carried out in groups in the co-creation camp. Before the discussion, the seven instructors of this co-creation plan shared their valuable experience and thinking with us. Starting from the social situation in the current epidemic, they provide professional analysis from social psychological response, design demand insight, design thinking innovation and other aspects, and also involve professional interpretation of public health, circular economy, social design and other fields. The sharing of mentors can help team members start with theory at the beginning of the co-creation, establish a basic understanding of epidemic prevention design, and more accurately grasp the direction of co-creation.
