This is an innovative on-hook air conditioner that I designed when I was still in Hisense. I am honored that this design won the iF Concept Award in 2017. Although the follow-up research and development of this project lasted for nearly a year, and there was no mass production due to volume problems, I still feel that this idea is worthy of further exploration and improvement. This is a double air outlet air conditioner. In summer, cold air is discharged from the upper air outlet, and the cold air flow decreases, which will cool faster. In winter, hot air is discharged from the air outlet, and the hot air flow rises, which can heat faster. Using this principle can reduce energy waste to some extent, improve work efficiency and play a certain role in environmental protection. The middle ring of the air conditioning panel is an air purification module, air enters from the circular groove, and the air outlet is discharged, which has a certain air purification function. At the same time, there is a human body sensor camera under the panel, which can automatically adjust the mode and air volume, making the use experience more comfortable. The streamlined double arc cross design makes this air conditioner visually lighter and thinner.
