In 15 years, range hoods are still a very hot topic. Major manufacturers are in full swing in this innovation competition, but there are almost no real innovative products, and most of them are gimmicks or concepts.

When I took over such a brand-new concept product, I was at a loss (I was a little white at that time). What I could know was to analyze from the point of "trend" and see what else the range hood could do?

After a month of searching pictures, checking materials, visiting families of range hoods, questionnaires, etc., almost all the places where information about range hoods can be found have been searched. Then I made a trend ppt of hundreds of pages, which was reduced to dozens of pages after repeated review by the director. This includes trend research on clothing, food, housing, transportation and beauty makeup, and draws some trend conclusions about "beauty.

The rest, which is also the concept of the birth of this product, quietly emerged from my head. The original concept was "suction and discharge separated range hood". Generally speaking, it is a range hood with two fans. The normal range hood has only one fan, but why are there two? Also called suction separation? Because when studying the working mode of the range hood, it is found that if you want to increase the efficiency of smoking, you must increase the power of the fan, which means that energy consumption and noise will increase, but in fact, the power of the range hood has a limit. No matter how large the power is in time, it will be invalid after exceeding this limit. Therefore, in order to ensure that energy consumption and noise can be controlled, two fans with the same moderate power, one responsible for smoking and the other responsible for smoke exhaust, theoretically the effect obtained is better than that of a high-power fan. So the concept of suction and discharge separation was born. And at the beginning of the idea, in the process of smoke exhaust to increase the module of oil fume purification, but also to protect the environment (the beautiful ideal of the student era)

When this concept was produced, other ideas were also produced, such as "spiral adsorption", "wind curtain" and other concepts that can improve product performance or improve the use experience.

Unfortunately, I didn't finish this project. I left the company after only completing the previous concept idea and basic module construction. Later, I saw this "double-engine strong range hood", which is the star Rubik's Cube series. I know this is a design that I didn't finish at the beginning, although the suction and discharge separation did not land well, however, the "Star Rubik's Cube", which is strongly arranged by Shuangqing, also explains what a good product should look like. At the same time, I would also like to thank the comrades who improved this product later.

Fang Tai's products in recent years have also been adhering to the idea of continuous innovation in good products, and in advertising can better understand the people-oriented design idea. I also hope that there will be more enterprises in China that take self-innovation as a path of development.
