On October 1, in order to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the people's Republic of China, a grand National Day military parade was held in Tiananmen Square in Beijing. An innovative drive float composed of three small floats, "Fuxing", "Tiangong" and "Jiaolong", followed by President Xi's huge portrait, drove through Chang'an Street and merged into one in front of Tiananmen Square to form a great wall of steel, which was inspected by the people of the whole country.
