My Bi-set is called "White Cloud Cang Dog", and the theme is emotional product design. White Cloud Cang Dog represents our complicated life and is fickle. I hope everyone can see that my design can shift away those negative emotions, cherish the present and live each day freely.
This series is divided into two directions, using biological instinct to nature and light to convey my emotions.
The first direction is called "trouble without trace". I use biological materials to add seeds to make recycled paper. Users write down the troubles generated in past life or their hopes for the future on paper. The content will dissipate, grow and rot over time. Different composition ratios, I .e. different seeds, have different emotions. For example, poppy beauty represents cherishing the present and evening primrose only blooms at night, "Get rid of all your troubles and leave him alone. He will grow new buds". The materials used are completely compostable and will not cause any burden to the environment. During the exhibition, I received more than two hundred messages and buried them somewhere on campus.
The second direction is called "Xiang Guang". Our life rhythm is getting faster and faster, so that we will forget our original intention, or close ourselves in a dark space when we are very painful. We need to go out and feel the sunshine., Group, nature, give yourself time to change your mood, think about the present and the future. I set out to design the most commonly used cups in daily life, so that ordinary daily necessities can emit dazzling rainbow light under the action of light and water, guiding users to feel nature and generating hope for a better life in the future.
