In view of the pain point of the charging gun insertion process, we have made a subversive optimization of the force arm structure and center of gravity distribution. The center of gravity of Tesla's original charging gun is biased towards the front end, and the user's wrist is required to continuously bear a large torsional moment when plugging and unplugging, which is easy to cause joint strain after long-term use. Through the optimization of internal counterweight, this charging gun shifts the center of gravity to the force point of the palm, greatly reducing the wrist burden during plugging and unplugging, allowing users to complete the plugging and unplugging action only with natural force from the arm without additional wrist torsion or additional force. At the same time, the included angle between the gun head and the grip has been simulated for hundreds of times, and finally the optimal inclination angle of 15 degrees has been determined, it perfectly adapts to the natural posture of the user's arm during daily plugging and unplugging, avoids the problems of wrist eversion and poor force application that are easy to occur with original guns, and is especially suitable for female users or users with weak strength, making the plugging and unplugging action more labor-saving and smooth.
In terms of operational details, we have also made targeted optimization. The touch indicator area above the grip adopts an embedded design, which not only maintains the integration of the overall line, but also clearly displays the charging status during the charging process, and the user can judge the working status through the afterlight without lowering his head; The connection between the gun head and the cable adopts a bending-proof flexible transition structure, which not only improves the durability of the cable, but also avoids the interference of the bending of the cable to the user when plugging and unplugging; the anti-skid slot design of the gun head has been repeatedly adjusted to the adaptation degree of Tesla charging port, and the damping feeling during plugging and unplugging is uniform and moderate, which will neither cause unstable connection due to too loose nor too tight for users to operate laboriously, thus taking into account the connection reliability and operation convenience.
