With the rapid development of science and technology, people's lifestyle has changed greatly, and manual food delivery service has gradually been replaced by machine food delivery. In view of the problems of inflexible rotation, susceptibility to bacterial contamination, inability to keep warm, and limited number of meals delivered on the market, a multi-functional food delivery robot design integrating precise positioning, infrared intelligent obstacle avoidance, humanized operation, power detection, dust prevention and heat preservation, and all-round rotation is proposed, which is suitable for large restaurant service places. By putting the food on the plate into the food delivery robot and inputting the designated dining table location by voice or manually, the food delivery robot can automatically avoid obstacles and companions in the restaurant and reach the destination. The status and information of the food delivery robot are displayed in real time and transmitted to smart devices such as computers or mobile phones, and customers can be prompted to order or pick up meals at the same time. When the food delivery robot recognizes that its power is insufficient, it can return; the main body of the food delivery robot is provided with a dust-proof and heat-insulating transparent cover, which can automatically sense the sliding cover, and the bottom is provided with a non-slip universal wheel, which is flexible and convenient.
