A companion mechanical dog designed for left-behind children | | people living alone🤍
Do design for so long, for the first time by their own works stamp.
Inspiration is actually very simple: now more and more people are used to living alone,
When I came home from work, I didn't even have a voice to respond.
▪️ Design concept
The whole takes a soft futuristic route, with low saturation purple lemon yellow color contrast, weakening the cold feeling of machinery.
Body lines round, no sharp edges and corners, feel a gentle sense of security.
▪Functionality and emotions
It's not just a robot dog:
✅Daily care: safety guard when living alone, help you keep an eye on the movement at home
✅Interactive accompanying play: simple follow and scrub actions, like a puppy that is always enthusiastic.
✅Emotional companionship: it stays quiet when you are busy and approaches when you are lonely.
▪Small details
The double lens of the fuselage, I did not make a cold monitoring eye,
Instead, it's shaped like a dog's eye,
When it looks at you, it really looks at you.
Many people say that mechanical things have no temperature,
But I think that good industrial design itself is to convey emotions.
I hope this little mechanical dog can give everyone who lives alone more company and confidence.
