This video work is based on our team's investigation and interviews in Gannan Tibetan area as the material. It discusses the influence and change of Nolle in the local economy, religious culture and natural environment from different angles such as the founder, employees and local herdsmen of Nolle.
Social design projects usually include more complex factors and multiple levels. Therefore, it is not possible to show its "good" and "bad" from a single angle, but to show its different levels to the viewer more objectively. This image work uses three screens as the carrier to expand the possibility of image performance. Each screen can not only complement each other in content, but also allow different interviewees to express their different views on the same timeline like "dialogue in the air.
In terms of exhibition, I put video works, books and yak velvet materials in a display space, trying to create more systematic and three-dimensional expressions from audition, reading to touch.
