Introduction: The purpose of this graduation project is to solve the problem of environmental pollution caused by a large number of waste fungus sticks in the edible fungus industry. China's sustainable idea is that people live in harmony with nature. Waste fungus sticks cannot be eaten by people due to miscellaneous bacteria infection, but they can enter people's lives in a different way and serve people.
This project conducts strain growth experiments on waste materials produced in the production process of edible fungi, develops and cultivates new biomaterials that can be completely degraded, uses materials to drive design, and explores sustainable design. In this process, the industrial chain of edible fungi was optimized, and the preparation of biological materials was integrated into the existing production process of the factory, reducing pollution and waste, and making better use of the factory site to improve the production of edible fungus sticks. The added value of by-products. And planned a set of brand-new production design process of edible fungus biomaterials, which conforms to the characteristics of Chinese edible fungus production, and shortens the design cycle of the material. The developed materials are simple in manufacturing process, natural and environmentally friendly, do not require any chemical additives, have certain flame retardancy, and the degradation products can be used as biological compost.
This project has produced a series of household items based on its characteristics. Because of its "life" characteristics, the products produced under the condition of incomplete inactivation of hyphae may undergo slight deformation or even grow during use. Mushrooms, while increasing interest, are also a new possibility for the future home-green, living, and breathing. The overall design purpose is to make "living materials and breathing products". The design concept is sustainable, simple and moderate, green and low-carbon, and harmonious coexistence between man and nature.
