The overall cycle is relatively short, and the time for research is limited. For this reason, the starting point of the design is basically to optimize the existing products and solve the basic two problems.

Appearance design stage

PL B pure geometric form is combined with large-area lighting design on the front, which is more modern and can also solve the visual mistake of seeing the internal hardware from the outside (but it can still be seen, and it will be noticed when the light is not on, and it will be blocked by the light when the light is on);
PL C wants to express the concept of safety, speed and stability. The basic form is still mainly geometric elements, but on this basis, the curved surface features with heavy feeling are added. The side features are also repeated, with stronger visual stability. The sandwich method is adopted on the parts to facilitate maintenance and installation.

In-depth optimization features give more design possibilities for different detail points, and then two schemes are used to block the upper part of the internal components. One is to optimize the shape of the curtain, and the other is to block the design method of dislocation.

About the alternatives to the curtain
There is no complicated mechanism, only through the relationship of staggered layers, the front of the shell part and the hardware sheet metal are narrow and the rear is wide, the supporting moving sheet metal is changed into a bow shape, and then moves in the gap between the two. Compared with the organ cover/roller shutter/broom mode, the structural space is smaller, more integrated, more beautiful, more convenient for installation and maintenance, but the requirements for processing accuracy are higher.

About the design of detachable left and right screens
More consideration is given to the factors of the site. Different hospitals have different sizes of lead rooms. The operation screen can be adjusted left and right during installation, which is a better choice for the site and the operator.

About Structure
As an independent designer, the appearance design is his job, and the contact with structural design will be less. Just because of various unreliable reasons and the production requirements, this project will be processed by CNC for a long time in the early stage, which has a lot of room for development.

The main structure design adopts the method of building blocks and building Lego, and the structure method of building up layer by layer reduces the number of screws on the main appearance surface, and the grooves with holes are more integrated and the visual feeling is more comfortable. In addition, the interference problem needs to be checked repeatedly in the design process, and a gap of 1mm is reserved in the assembly gap for adjustment.
