The modern inspection robot can replace the manual detection and diagnosis of the operation state of the equipment in the special environment, and realize the full coverage inspection of the equipment area, so as to effectively reduce the hidden danger of equipment safety and improve the work efficiency. The continuous progress of science and technology has reduced the cost of related products, and brought about the continuous extension and expansion of new technology research and development applications, which makes the inspection robot industry will be in a stage of rapid development for a long time. Therefore, the unmanned management and production of enterprises is not only a trend, but also the future development direction.
Due to the poor working environment of most inspection robots, there are problems such as high temperature, severe cold, and complex environmental structure. At the beginning of the project, the design team conducted research on application scenarios such as variable power tunnels, power plants, and substations, and explored and analyzed in these harsh environments. The problems encountered, and the ways to solve these problems. The convex and concave team analyzed the competition in the same industry from different angles such as brand, price, functional selling point, process and product style, and extracted the trend of ID design in the robot industry. At the same time, the convex and concave design team expanded their thinking according to the brand image of the country, and incorporated different product image elements into the inspection robot, which was displayed in the form of sketches.
The team worked out the impression of the product from many aspects/directions, tried many possibilities, in order to achieve the optimal positioning and design direction, and gave three different CMF ideas of "fine specialty", "super-strong and obvious" and "exploring the future" in the early stage. Combined with the intelligent inspection technology and indoor application scenarios, the robot's practicality and sense of science and technology are satisfied while the robot's aesthetics are increased, creating an inspection robot system that conforms to the application environment and the field of inspection robots.
In this project, the convex-concave team uses excellent industrial design capability to help the national self-inspection robot produce a variety of intelligent inspection robots, from intelligent pipe gallery to coal handling trestle, from substation to new energy exchange station. The convex-concave team helps the national self-inspection robot to continuously expand new application scenarios, completely replaces manual routine inspection, opens a new mode of intelligent inspection, helps enterprises to quickly realize safe and intelligent production, and helps more and more industries to realize intelligent operation and maintenance.

The product adopts a lightweight and miniaturized design in appearance, which can improve the implementation efficiency during the operation. The protrusions on the surface of the fuselage not only play a decorative role, but also provide a good help for the heat dissipation during the operation of the robot.
We extracted the representative blue color from the national LOGO and sprayed it on the product body in a large area, which not only meets the practicability and scientific and technological sense of the hanging rail inspection robot, but also increases the aesthetics of the robot, making the hanging rail inspection robot system more integrated and systematic.
The design of the sports chassis breaks the usual heavy image of the inspection robot. The geometric section shell on the side can not only reflect the sense of science and technology of the product, but also reduce the volume of the product visually, ensure the practicability of the product, and also meet the aesthetic requirements of the product.
Adhering to the design concept of miniaturization and tooling, it is more mini on the basis of maintaining the functions of similar inspection robots, suitable for more diversified application scenarios, more convenient to implement and simpler to operate.
