Shenzhen is a city where 300 days are summer. It is no longer exclusive for women to carry a sunshade when they go out. I once bought 7 umbrellas a year, and the demand is evident. But so far there is no umbrella design that I particularly like. As a designer, I would like to study the possibility of the future form of sunshade. This case is my thinking about sunshade (welcome friends with curiosity to put forward their own ideas).
Umbrellas are also often used as gifts and have strong gift attributes. At present, the phenomenon of excessive packaging in the gift industry is already the norm, and there is no way to survive without internal volume. But in addition to our own industry identity, most of the time we still play the role of consumers, whenever we sell or receive a very beautiful product packaging box, first of all, we must be very happy and satisfied, but then we will think about where I want to put it? I still have a few of the beautiful packaging before, there is no extra place to store them, it would be a pity to throw them away directly. At the same time, the designer's painstaking efforts have also come to an end in this portrayal.
I also cut in from this point, imagine if we put the energy and cost of designing the packaging box, all attached to the product itself, then the product itself will be more perfect, for consumers also get more considerate care.
Secondly, I also have some other ideas about the storage and storage of sunshade umbrellas. Although each umbrella is equipped with an umbrella cover, few people use it (I think the existence of umbrella cover is very chicken ribs). Umbrellas are usually stored in conspicuous positions that can be easily reached at home. Because it is not an ornament and is not beautiful enough, it is rather embarrassing when placed. If it is a designed and beautiful shape, it can be placed gracefully on the table. This parasol is very small in size and can be easily put into a lady's bag.
The purpose of this design is to want to achieve the organic combination of packaging and the function of the product itself, the product is both packaging-packaging is both a product,

According to my many years of experience in holding an umbrella, this umbrella cannot be put away at all!!
Is it better, more complete, can be portable, hung and so on, easy to take, visually will be more full
It's an interesting idea to combine the packaging with the umbrella handle, but the structural design has to stand up to the test, so it looks like this umbrella is opened all manually, right? When you close the umbrella, you need to fold the cover neatly and then put it into the handle, which may not be suitable for impatient use.
Umbrella, if it is used to shade the sun and rain instead of show or COSPLAY, it is definitely more practical than appearance value. If it is uncomfortable to use, it can only be decorative and meaningless.
Finally, there is a crooked building. Since it is about thinking, you can refer to this product:

This guy even won the red dot award, which can only be said to be extremely ridiculous. His so-called handle button looks cool, but it is actually very rubbish. When holding the umbrella handle in use, it is especially easy to touch the raised umbrella closing button. Many times my umbrella was suddenly put away in heavy rain, and then the umbrella cover held my head and thought about the touching picture.... The funniest thing is that due to the design principle of the all-automatic umbrella, when the umbrella is accidentally pressed to close the umbrella button, you must manually close the umbrella completely and then press the handle button again to open the umbrella. The whole process is completed in the rain. Is it like a brake pen? (Again, the ridiculousness of the Red Dot Award)
It's really pretty, but although the buckle makes the assembly easier, it also makes the connection part especially easy to be loosened casually, and once loosened, it has to be tightened again, thus making the experience worse. Then, at first, I still have doubts, that is, do I have to take it out and assemble it every time I use it, and then take it down and plug it back when I run out? However, if you want to find out that it is not necessary, it can be used as an umbrella handle all the time after assembly. However, there will be a new problem, that is, does this not make the originally small umbrella handle become very long and very large for no reason, because users will definitely not remove it and plug it back again and again in order to avoid trouble, in that case, it would be contrary to the original intention of stuffing the umbrella into the barrel at the beginning to reduce the size and then easily put it into the bag. The author may only consider the situation that the user will remove the umbrella and plug it back every time, but not the situation that the umbrella handle will be longer than the regular umbrella without removing it. But the idea is still good👍🏻
Okay, huh
The appearance is excellent
I 'd like to make a little suggestion, if you come back from storage, you should open holes for ventilation, otherwise there will be peculiar smell if there is water in it for a long time.
A lot of color
