In the appearance design of industrial sheet metal equipment, the inevitable first step must be the planning of the product size, too large or too small shape for the product is a problem that may occur during production.

The height of the two cabinets in this project is 1800mm, and the width is 800mm and 1500mm respectively, which means that the modeling of the whole size should be avoided in the preliminary design planning. Combined with Party A's operation requirements and explosion-proof requirements, I divided the whole function, interrupted the ordinary double-door form, and also formed a series of features with two birds with one stone.

Large-size sheet metal equipment, especially the equipment structure that needs profile frame inside, the feasibility limit of appearance design will be large. How to deal with the modeling trend, how to break the flat feeling of traditional sheet metal, and how to balance the process limitation and modeling method have become the most direct problems. In this project, I first "cut" and divided the flat sheet metal into several useful parts according to functional division and operation requirements. Then I "lit" the characteristic parts. I hope the operator can see the shape of the wind vane at a glance. This is the basic feature of serialization and can form an intuitive association of "form-brand" for the brand.
