TUBEN | Children's smart plate
Focus on baby product design innovation
Service content: industrial design, product design, appearance design, product experience
Have you also met the difficult picky eater bear children? It is undoubtedly a helpless but efficient way to lure children into eating the food on the plate by letting them play video games for more than ten minutes. Using this idea, Booz has launched this TUBEN smart plate, which incorporates virtual elements that allow real food eaten by children to be converted into energy in video games to help them level up and get rewards in the game. The plate features multi-colored LED lights that change from white to green as your child eats more food. This can provide a visual feedback to the child, thus gently guiding the child to continue to eat the food on the plate. The plate also measures the weight and time of each bite a child takes, and can be uploaded to a parent's app via a Bluetooth device. The wittiest part of this dinner plate is to convert actual material energy into virtual energy. The Bosi vertical and horizontal design team is developing games for children to use these virtual energy sources, and in the process, suggest which foods are healthier for children.
