Before, I had the honor to read a book called "The First Heart of Zen". In which Zen Master Suzuki said that life is practice, and drinking tea is a part of life. At this point, meditation is no different from drinking tea. Dry landscape is a unique form of expression formed by the combination of Zen thought and garden landscape, and tea table and tea making are also inseparable, which can combine the two with each other. If the thought is empty, the object is real, and if tea is empty, then making tea is also real. At this point, they can also achieve the combination of virtual and real. From this point of view, their connection is more consistent.
Since ancient times, the development of Chinese tea culture is inseparable from Zen Buddhism. In the development of mutual cooperation, the concept of "Zen and tea blindly" has been formed. The so-called "tea and Zen blindly" also means that the spirit of tea ceremony is similar to and similar to Zen, and it is not that tea theory is Zen theory. In a word, there is an inseparable connection between them. This time, I just can take this opportunity to connect Zen thought with the spirit of tea ceremony in form.
I started from the landscape of dry mountains and rivers. Dry mountains and rivers mainly take sand and stone as the main elements, replace water with sand and mountain with stone. At this point, I think of the tools for making tea on the tea table. If they are combined, they will definitely form a unique connection. From the perspective of Zen, the tea table that makes tea at ordinary times is regarded as a world, so the tea cup and the tea table, etc, each individual object is the scene of this world. From this point of view, their ingenious combination can achieve mutual cooperation and have another unique taste.
The tea table is mainly used as a tool for making tea. First of all, it cannot be changed. Furthermore, what is added and then things cannot make it originally complicated, so these are two more important points.
At the beginning of the conception, imagine that the tea set is a scene when it is enlarged, and it is only a simple tea making tool when it is reduced to feel it. The small sand and stone on the desktop are the theme of the tea table, but in function, it is only auxiliary. The high temperature or hot objects generated when making tea and boiling water can be placed on it to achieve the effect of cooling; the scale of the tea tray in the middle is also formed by reference to the artistic conception ripples of dry mountains and rivers. The water after making tea flows out slowly from the middle and then flows to both sides of the tea tray, then flows slowly into the sand and stones on the tea table, and finally flows out. Here, a state of slow loss of time is formed. After chatting with several friends, you can watch the scenery of running water.
The use of teacups and other tea-making utensils on the table corresponds to the large scenery in the dry landscape, and is combined at this point. Let the fixed scenery in the original dry landscape become movable, and here it also reaches a state of dynamic and static harmony. Different people make the desktop form different scenes, and the movement of each object also forms a different landscape., Let the original randomly placed desktop form a unique artistic conception. The same as drinking tea is also more able to enter the state of meditation; it is more able to achieve the artistic conception of "Zen tea blindly.
I used rounded corners to deal with the corners of the tea table, which is to make it fit with the whole. The following line structure is also the same. The whole uses the concept of circle to make the whole more concise. There are only available and structural supports, and there are no too many complicated and useless elements.

Recently, I was doing research on dry landscape elements. At first, I saw that this plan was a good idea. Then I realized that dry landscape does not see water, and being used as a teahouse will also lead to design conflicts. There is also the dry landscape with sand as the sea of Sichuan tea, which is a bit interesting.
During college, I also made the same teahouse and the same design concept, but you did better than me.
