This project is an old self-built house in a village below Menghai County, Xishuangbanna, Yunnan. The house has been built for many years, and the appearance and interior layout of the original building can no longer meet the life and work needs of the current owners, so it needs to be redesigned and planned from the inside to the outside. The design of this case is mainly divided into the appearance of the original building transformation, garden landscape and interior space three links.
First of all, the appearance of the house; considering the limited cost of renovation, try to adapt measures to local conditions, can not move the main structure, on the basis of the original optimization, do not add additional civil engineering renovation. As for the various online red self-built houses that are currently popular on the Internet, they generally need to make drastic changes to the original structure, and even need to readjust the load-bearing structure. The cost and cost are no different from those of rebuilding a new house, which is not applicable to the actual situation of local people. Therefore, the appearance design needs to take into account the simplification of modern aesthetics within the cost range, and the overall style is biased towards the Japanese-style one-family simple style appearance. The yard is reshaped with modern Nordic style. At the same time, it is placed at the end of the running water to add garden activity. The front yard and the backyard are separated by small scenes designed by Tingbu and flower border. The front yard is parked and the backyard is comfortable for leisure.
Secondly, Menghai County is the main producing area and trade center of Pu 'er tea. Almost all local residents are more or less engaged in tea business. Therefore, the layout of the house does not require a traditional living room. The first floor is directly designed as a tea room for receiving tea guests. The two main functional areas of the open kitchen restaurant. The open modern kitchen with Nakajima is rare in the rural self-built house design on this side of Banna. This is a bold attempt, and it also needs the acceptance of the owner's family to implement it.
Xishuangbanna is also a famous tourist city. The owners themselves have other houses in the city. In addition to satisfying self-occupation, this self-built house in the countryside also needs to take into account certain homestay functions and can also receive tourists during peak tourist seasons. Therefore, the bedroom design in addition to the first floor of the elderly room, the second floor of the third floor of the bedroom with a separate bathroom. The top floor layout of a comprehensive entertainment hall, a combination of bar and video room function.
