The Puzzle tamping mat gives baristas more stability when they are tamping (compressing ground coffee into a puck to prepare espresso). By using silicon, reducing the thickness and adding small legs to the edge of the mat, this stops the mat from slipping forwards or backwards and gives more control to the Barista. The front of the mat is curved inward, so when a portafilter is pressed downwards, pressure is placed on the mat and the table, stopping the possibilty of the mat falling forward. The jigsaw puzzle design saves space by joining numerous mats together if more than one barista is sharing the work space.
