Loose Parts is a research tool used by designers to play games with users to explore the relationship between user behavior and product design. This set of tools consists of scene cards, image cards and assembly modules of three different materials. Designers can invite users to randomly select scene cards and put themselves in different scenes. During this period, designers can observe their reactions in specific situations and which relevant image cards they will choose to help them develop their thinking. Users can then combine modular components according to their ideas and create new products according to their needs. The selection of module components of three different materials can let designers know the user's preference for tactile materials when using the product. In this way, designers can identify the pain points of users, understand people's needs, and create more possibilities in product design, so as to design better products.
