Introduction: The market competition of construction machinery products is fierce, the difference is small, the level of personalized and humanized design is not good, and the phenomenon of homogenization is becoming more and more serious. In this context, in order to improve the performance, function and actual use efficiency of off-road cranes, products with emotional experience are brought to the market and users.
Entrusted by Sany Heavy Industry's Off-road Crane Co., Ltd., the author participated in the design practice in the "Off-road Crane Industrial Modeling Design" carried out by the design team, using industrial design methods, and successively carried out project background analysis and design task analysis, design direction and goal establishment, market research and competition research, appearance design, operating room interior design, interior and exterior decoration iterative design optimization, digital model establishment and final prototype construction and other work to complete the off-road crane interior and exterior decoration industrial modeling design.
In the research results, the whole design process of the project is fully recorded, the general method of continuation and inheritance of family product design features is put forward, the importance of project analysis and research to design practice is emphasized, and the importance of design practice working methods and processes is emphasized. In the research sense, through the detailed record of the whole process and content of the project, the use of systematic design methods and design thinking to discuss, for similar equipment product design and development design process, design methods and specific content to provide a certain reference and reference significance.
