On January 30, 2020, what designers can do during the epidemic, hoping to help the staff struggling on the front line. Even if it is only a little less risk and workload, then this product is worth it. The product in the video is a non-final effect in the test phase of the functional prototype.

With the outbreak, many people in the industry are struggling to be on the front line without fear of risk. What can designers do, have the honor to participate in the design of epidemic prevention inspection products. The project is quite special and cannot be added later.
Project Background: According to the outbreak of the epidemic, a product needs to be designed to meet the following functions: (1) body temperature monitoring; (2) mask detection for mobile personnel; (3) autonomous navigation spraying and disinfection; (4) uninterrupted disinfection operation for a whole period of time; (5) prototype production for 3 weeks (design/development and addition production)

In three weeks, I felt a lot. The most common dispute in the early stage of the design was whether to do the appearance design or not. Finally, I compromised. In order to send the machine to the hardest hit areas earlier, the design also made great concessions. Perhaps this is an incomplete product (for designers), but this product may reduce the work of the staff or reduce the risk of the staff.

The machine was sent to a hospital in Wuhan for use.

On the first day of Hankou unsealing, the machine was sent to the railway station for mobile inspection and disinfection.

This is the first version, and many concessions have been made due to the tight time design. When this product was sent to the front line, the design was also optimized.
