In particular, electric energy is considered to be the most likely to replace oil as an energy drive on a large scale. In recent years, the development of electric vehicles, electric bicycles, electric motorcycles, and even electric drones has relied on its use to be cleaner, cheaper, more environmentally friendly, and more convenient. The advantage makes more possibilities. Officially based on this background electric scooter products were born.
Electric scooters have already occupied a place in the crowd with the advantage of being lighter and more economical. However, as a new entrant in the industry, GROOP found the innovation team with such problems on how to make its products have a unique market advantage.
With the innovation that: electric scooters are produced to solve the last pass (of course, there are also geek electric skateboards between non-electric skateboards and commuter skateboards), the competition of products should not only focus on the field of scooters, but should be expanded to other tools with commuting and simplicity. Based on this and the above innovation, the research goal is to focus on the whole product of solving the last kilometer (balance car, unicycle), and the following work is done:
1. Target user group analysis;
2. Analysis of the characteristics of competing products;
3. Deconstruction and reorganization of its own products;
Through the above analysis and judgment, we find that the overall purpose of people is commuting, but different commuting combinations have different product characteristic tendencies for users, for example: pure skateboard commuting requires more endurance, while public transportation skateboard commuting combinations are more inclined to fast storage and portability; 2. The crowd is very concerned about safety issues; 3. Interested in personalized features;
According to the analysis results, our goal is to create a safe tool for fast commuting. We carefully polished every detail of the product, and set the product elements as: weight of 10-13kg (light to carry), fast folding (fast storage), through stability (10-inch tires), electronic disc brake (brake safety, anti-lock braking), vehicle endurance of 20km (medium endurance), DIY customization of lighting and reflective strips. This defines a medium life, high stability, fast storage folding products, by the combination of commuters sought after.
At the same time, it is also proposed to add interactive links to products: links to small programs, so that users can share their trips and accumulate to form a circle of car friends, and can enter into fashionable commuter products that function to use and communicate with the platform.
Summary: The needs of users need to be carefully distinguished. For seemingly the same functional categories, users are actually very sensitive to attention.
