When the traditional ultrasonic machine is in use, the probe, screen, push hand and other accessories are not completely in line with ergonomics, resulting in the inability to adapt to the doctor's movement track and usage habits; and the use environment of the ultrasonic machine is always dim indoors, which also causes great harm to the doctor's eye health. For these reasons, leading to ultrasound doctors in the work will produce a variety of occupational diseases.
In the pre-design research process, the designer personally went to the ultrasound doctor's office, observed and recorded the whole process of the doctor's examination to the patient, and then analyzed and summarized the needs of the doctor's examination. Through interviews and inquiries, communicate with ultrasound doctors to understand the pain points in the usual examination process. In order to achieve a high degree of adaptation between the ultrasound machine and the doctor's usage habits, help the doctor to be more comfortable in the process of ultrasound examination, and also meet the application requirements of the ultrasound machine in different environments or departments, we have referred to a number of Anthropometric Data, including GB10000-88 in China, TR-96-036 in the US Army, DINBelg in Belgium (2005), etc. These data help us to formulate the data of [extreme body shape] and carry out targeted design. For different product size schemes, panel arrangement schemes, etc., we all carry out verification and screening through mock-up, and constantly polish to select the optimal product size scheme.
Visual use of smooth external modeling design, so that the product more affinity, the overall PI details of the various location elements are unified. Control key characters light, the keyboard hidden under the table, improve the stability of the instrument in the process of moving.
This project is through subjective observation and analysis and objective interview and inquiry, combining the information obtained from the two, taking the actual use experience of doctors as the core, taking ergonomics as the foothold, collecting and analyzing the movement track, usage habits, working environment and other design elements of doctors in the process of ultrasound examination, and helping to reduce the pressure and burden of ultrasound doctors through the design adjustment of various parts of the instrument, it reduces the occupational injury of ultrasound doctors, creates a brand-new B- ultrasound instrument that completely fits the use process, and improves the situation of ultrasound doctors suffering from occupational diseases from the source.
