Golden Coffee is a place dedicated to the diffusion of knowledge, preparation and taste of Mexican coffee in the Chinese culture, located in Hangzhou, China, Golden Coffee is a place where Chinese and Mexican culture mix and develop a concept unconventional to the average coffee shop.
.
ba-sed on the Mexican flavor and aimed at the Chinese market, Golden Coffee stands out from other coffee shops for having a series of unique product designs that make the experience of preparing a cup of coffee unique and emblematic. Golden Coffee's product line is ba-sed on awakening the five sensory senses of consumers while creating a new experience at the moment of preparing a coffee. Each of the products is centered on one of the five sensory senses of the human body.
.
Pyramid: Focused on the sense of hearing, the consumer places a coffee filter in the upper part and adds ground coffee, then in the upper part hot water is added, which will begin to filter little by little and the coffee solution will begin to descend (creating a natural sound of water flowing in the river) until reaching the lower part of an empty ceramic coffee cup.
.
Coffee Grinder: ba-sed on the sense of touch a product was developed with a manual mechanism, which has the objective of grinding the coffee beans and thus having a more concentrated solution that provides the amount of coffee that will be produced.
.
Cylindrical Clock: Finally we have the sense of taste, in this last but important sense a product of cylindrical shape divided in 2 parts was developed, the upper part where a coffee bean is placed and hot water is added and the lower part where through a previous filtering the solution of a coffee ready to eat is received.
Carafe: Aimed at the sense of smell, a me-tallic carafe with golden finishes was developed; which serves as a milk frother in which you can heat and prepare your milk for coffee in a simpler and more organized way having a variety of smells and tastes at the moment of serving it in your convenience coffee.
.
Curved Watch: Inspired by the sense of sight, the product developed was a curved watch simulating an eye, the product consists of three parts that can be separated for cleaning. The concept is to fill the central part of the watch with ground coffee and place hot water in one of the test tubes, which when placed downwards will generate an effect of the Chemex method, a method in which the water pressurizes the ground coffee and creates a more concentrated coffee solution.
.
Logo
.
The concept that makes up the "Golden Coffee" logo was the inspiration of the golden sparkle that is formed when a light bounces directly off a roasted coffee bean, an emblematic golden line that represents the golden coffee as it was known before by the Mayans as well as the golden color used by the kings in the Asian continent.
.
The main letter of the logo ¨G¨ alludes to the name of the business (Café dorado), the main concept was to develop a graphic composition formed by five parts that represent the five senses of the human body (hearing, taste, smell, sight and touch) which allude to the type of experience that one has at the moment of consuming coffee in this establishment. The half circle alludes to hearing, representing union and experience, the orange half moon simulating a full cup represents taste, the vertical line represents smell, an essential ba-se for the experience, the small circle represents sight, a delicate but essential sense, and finally there is a cup of coffee that represents touch.
