China is the largest bamboo producing area in the world, and it is also the country with the largest variety of bamboo instruments. However, people's understanding of bamboo instruments only stays in the flute, and their cultural cognition of bamboo instruments is still shallow. Therefore, this design to carry forward the bamboo musical instrument culture as the original intention, explore the possibility of modern design of bamboo instruments. Based on the analysis of users and products, the innovation direction is set on the three tapping instruments of bamboo piano, bamboo drum and bamboo racket. The modeling is modernized and improved, and the performance is simplified. Finally, a set of bamboo instrument combination with piano as the main and drum and racket as the auxiliary is formed, which can be played by one person or by many people. The sound of bamboo musical instruments is crisp and pleasant to the ear, like "noisy and dissecting bullets, big beads and small beads falling on a jade plate", called "falling bamboo".
