Design concept: Blind people are people that we often ignore when designing products. Blind people should be very careful in the process of pouring water and drinking water. They often have the problem of water pouring outside or hands. If it is hot water, it is easy to cause burns. This hot water kettle cup adopts magnetic suction positioning method. The kettle and the cup contain magnets. When the cup is close to the kettle, the kettle and the cup are actively positioned together through the magnetic suction principle, and then the kettle is tilted and the water is slowly poured into the cup. This design solves the problem that the water bottle and the water cup are not positioned correctly and the water is placed upside down due to visual defects of the blind. It is more convenient to use and more humanized to operate.
The minimalist shape design uses a circle as the basic element, the overall element is unified, simple and high-end. Since the main positioning is for the blind, there is no excessive appearance modification, simplicity is given priority to, and more attention is paid to man-machine.
The lid opening button is set above the handle, which can be easily touched, even if it is used by the blind, it is very convenient. At the same time, the key adopts metal electroplating technology, its touch is different from plastic material, and it feels cold to the touch, which is convenient for blind people to touch and recognize. At the same time, it embellishes the overall appearance and improves the texture of the product.
The curved notch shape of the water cup matches the radian of the kettle body, which facilitates the magnetic matching between the two, solves the problem of poor alignment of the round kettle cup, is more convenient to operate and use, and is more convenient for blind people to identify the direction of the water cup after touching, which is more humanized.

Now the red dot is really to pay the money
This topic was initially discussed as a group before class, but in the later period, it was found that this was actually a false pain point. After all, many products such as water bottles, drinking fountains and coffee machines were not designed for the blind, but the positioning of the faucet and the water cup itself solved the problem of deviation of the water pouring position for the blind, and many products could quantitatively discharge water, which was more convenient than water bottles.
Good design is to make people's lives better.
Yes, very good design
As a conceptual design, it is still very good. There are indeed many problems to think about in life.
The concept of magnetic attraction is still great
How do blind people usually drink water and pour water by themselves now?
It is very good to design a design with temperature for the disabled, but the original intention of this design really did not get it. Is there really a pain point for the blind here?
