● The case of November 21 was sorted out recently when I had time. At that time, I received the design entrustment from the customer to design a new design that can replace the basic model of my original product online.

● After receiving the project, I communicated with the customer in detail to confirm that what the customer wants is a product that is suitable for all ages and can take into account both business and learning environment. Such product input is actually very large.
● Based on this input, we conducted a series of internal discussions and reflections, and disassembled the input: basic model = geometric shape (high acceptance), differentiation = functional micro-innovation (high acceptance).
● Single writing function, how do we do innovation? We try to think from the purpose of product function.
The purpose of writing is to show. The current display is immediate (I will write it to you now). Can we make some adjustments to this purpose? Change immediacy to hysteresis; Writing is not only for immediate display, but also for constant display. The function similar to post-it notes is feasible. Do we have to stick the writing board on the wall? First of all, the purpose of posting is actually to have a better display angle, so we design the product to have a display angle to achieve this goal.
● The pen body forms a bracket. The customer is very satisfied with this solution, and the body also has a certain degree of visual recognition. At the beginning, the design pen was round. After proofing, it was found that the pen would roll after being inserted into the hole of the body. Then, the pen was changed into a triangle. It was found that not only the function was optimized, but also the visual effect became better. The product has been on the market in Amazon for nearly 3 years, the sales volume should be close to 500000, with a comprehensive score of 4.6 stars, and the market data continues to improve.
