In the Republic of China, the "Hundred Sedan" is an important collection of the Shanghai History Museum. It was made by Zhou Weicheng, the original owner of the Shanghai "Wuhua Hao Jiqi Shop", for his son Zhou Zongyu's marriage. At that time, 10 wood carvers were invited from Ningbo. The production started in 1927 and lasted for ten years. It was not completed until 1936. Because the production takes nearly 10,000 man-hours, it is also called "Wangong Sedan".
