Award-winning work of Korean K-Design in 2021, Grade 18 Industrial Design of Academy of Fine Arts, Guangdong Normal University of Technology, by Luo Gebing, Luo Leyao, Wei Zihao, Zeng Danlin, Lu Wei, Instructor: Liu Xiang
Design Description: This is a kitchen knife based on unconscious design concept. When people cut hard fruits such as watermelons, they will unconsciously press the back of the knife with their palms to assist in the force, but the sharp back of the knife often cuts the palm of the hand. After people cut the dishes, the dishes will fall from the knives when they shovel the cut dishes into the pot. In response to the above two problems, we redesigned the kitchen knife: the rolled back of the knife is more conducive to safe grip, in line with ergonomics, and effectively prevents the dishes from falling from the knife, and the design of the knife handle is effective Avoid the problem of getting rid of hands. The material is stainless steel. In the manufacturing process, the one-time molding process of die stamping is adopted.

I am the instructor of this work, and I have also been a judge of the concept award. This work can trigger a series of exchanges and discussions, which I think is a good thing. Please note that the concept award is different from the product award. The concept award focuses on discovering problems, thinking about problems, and discovering excellent ideas. Through wide dissemination, it triggers new design works and promotes the development of the design industry. Therefore, The concept award is highly enlightening (throwing bricks to attract jade). Just like the suggestions put forward by the designers in the commentary, on the basis of this work (idea), it may be possible to improve in a better direction in terms of landing, but the source of all innovations lies in ideas, which is the purpose of the concept award. Welcome to exchange
At first glance, it looks like Sato's chopsticks.
The person who designed this knife may have never cut food for cooking.
Peeled corn kernels won't be on the cutting board.
If you press it hard on the form, will the force go to the side again (I'm here )
The starting point is good. However, if the cutting knife is made like this, I feel that I dare not cut meat slices and fish slices. The extra part blocks the view and always feels that it is easy to cut my hands. The feeling is not very good.
I don't know why, seeing this knife, I vaguely feel my fingers hurt.
Shocked! A man designs a knife! Triggered a large number of netizens to scold war! Is this a distortion of human nature or a loss of morality? I hope we will have less quarrels and more tolerance on the road to common prosperity! As long as everyone gives a little milk! Design will become a beautiful knife!
Disaster-style meat cutting experience
The work with good creativity and the most comments, take a group photo as a souvenir

This product reminds us that when designing real products, we should consider comprehensively
Let me always doubt the gold content of international awards.
I found a low-cost solution
How do I think this can't cut watermelons? It will get stuck. Am I wrong? What do you think
