This book is based on the yak velvet products made by Nuo Le and many years of practice and exploration in Tibetan areas as a case, to show the epitome of product design and social design in the development of Tibetan areas in China, and analyze how to integrate modern design thinking Combine traditional Tibetan handicrafts and culture, and how to use the concepts of social design and sustainable design to work with Tibetans to improve their living conditions and production methods.
The book design adopts the binding method without spine to show the structure of the thread-bound book completely. The cover and back cover choose the white of the snow mountain and the blue of the sky as the background colors respectively, symbolizing the pure scene of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. At the same time, the core element of this book, yak hair, is cleverly embedded in the cover, and readers can touch and feel this unique material.
