Tami is a floor seating couch which is composed with a ba-se and four cushion pieces. The name comes from the Japanese word “Tatami” （畳）which is a type of mat used as a flooring material in traditional Japanese style rooms. The design promotes both individual and collaborative activities so that users, especially the young generation can maximize the usage of the micro space.

The ba-se piece can either function as a “dock“ for all the cushions so that it could be organized and neat while they are not in use or as a table by flipping it around for sharing with other people.
